Note: There are NO Saturday Technique
classes scheduled for Spring 2016.
Please see the 'Workshops' page if you
would like to take a class in 2016.
Painting in Central Park on Saturday morning makes for a wonderful start to the weekend. Our Saturday sessions are 'technique classes'. Although not a prerequisite for participation in a One Day Workshop, these classes are helpful for those participants wanting to learn more about painting specific elements of the landscape as we focus on skills such as brush techniques and color mixing.
Technique classes are much more about learning good painting skills, than finishing the class with a completed masterpiece.
Classes work to a format that allows the most seasoned of painters to work alongside those who are completely new to painting, while each benefits from and enjoys the experience. These technique classes are suited to ALL levels of painters as each participant is assisted at their individual level of experience. Suited to ages 10 and up.
In the case of topics where suitable 'real life' reference is not
available, such as the perfect skys for our study, excellent photographic
materials are supplied to each student during the class.
Come and join a lovely group of people for a special Saturday morning experience!

Beginner or experienced painter?
The above format works for both. Although some of you may have
painted before, consider that with every teacher comes new knowledge.
To the experienced, some of the above may sound like information you have
already covered. Know that each student is given individual attention and
therefore you will be taught at your level of ability, while the beginner next to
you will be assisted at their level.
